.. Canyon Risk Management ..

Canyoning is an adventure sport where we have to face risk and accidents in a few cases. Most problems could be avoided by acknowledging the canyon environment and knowledge of safety steps needed to canyon. Canyoning is a safe sport when you know right move at the right time.

You will wear safety hardware and instructor will crammed you with knowledge to tackle with the canyon situations. When you are well educated about pros and cons, you will make most out of it and enjoy doing canyoning.

  Group size Limitation

We will break up larger groups into smaller ones not exceeding six at a time plus with three instructors. As smaller groups move more efficiently.

  Health status of Interested Candidate:

We would want to know about your health status and physical abilities before we let you in for canyon.

  Weather Status

During intense rainfall, we will not be able to run canyoning. Professional canyoneer's may find this time enticing. We will look upon the situations of candidate experience and knowledge and chances of flash flood at canyoning site for permission.

Safety Instruction and Rescue Team

Instructor will teach each canyoneer about rope work and wearing safety hardware like wetsuit, helmets, harnesses and other vital hardware to be able to canyon. Canyonig rescue team consists of three field guides including instructor (also known as Blay man). In case canyoneer need more guidance about rope safety and use of hardware, feel free to ask to our guides.

Canyon Setup
  Amateur Set Up

This set up is for novice participant, who is descending on canyon for the first time or have less confident to descend by himself/ herself. The descend is organized under close supervision of BLAYMAN. The Blayman will help the participant through out the canyoning period. For each participant two Blaymans are positioned at either side of the cliff i.e. top and bottom. For more safety, Blayman could be made descend along with the participant side by side.

The Blayman residing at the top will find the safe place to anchor the piton and sling at the rock. Then Blayman will lift down the participant with the help of static rope. The participant is wearing harness and static rope is attached in it by carabineers. Even if the participant by chance release his hand from the rope, the Blayman on the top will take under control.
