CEO & Lead Guide
15+ years experience
Kishor has opened 20+ canyon routes across Nepal and holds top international canyoning certifications. With a lifetime spent on rock, rope and waterfalls, Kishor plans to never stop pushing the edge.
After more than 15 years working through Nepal’s trekking and mountaineering industry, Kishor became part of the first group of Nepalis trained by French experts to introduce technical canyoning to the region.
Driven by the untapped potential of Nepal’s waterfalls, he spent seven years exploring canyon sites and working with national park authorities to secure the first official permissions for canyoning inside Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park.
His field explorations led to the discovery and rigging of major canyoning locations in Sundarijal and Jalbire, now considered cornerstone destinations in Nepal’s adventure tourism circuit.
Kishor established Chhango: The Canyoning Company, which became Nepal’s first registered canyoning company and helped position the country as a serious destination for world-class canyoning experiences.
Under his leadership, Chhango guided thousands of adventurers while setting standards for safety, professionalism, and technical instruction.
Kishor continues to champion sustainable tourism, environmental respect, and his philosophy of “Adventure Healing,” sharing Nepal’s beautiful water with the world through guiding, speaking, and ongoing exploration.
